In this tutorial, you will learn to create leaf texture. Create a new file of 200 x 200 pixels, RGB and of 72 dpi. Fill the background with linear gradient selecting #95B432 as foreground and #627C01 as background.
Go to Filter>Noise>Add Noise and type 3 in amount, select uniform and click on monochromatic.
Create a new layer and fill the background with #F7FF8F color.
Go Filter>Texture>Stained Glass and give these values :-
Click on Smudge tool and set the brush size as shown :-
Set the mode to Darken, strength to 30%. and drag the brush over the lines as shown :-
Change the blending mode of the layer from normal to color burn.
Similarly, create another layer, fill the layer with #F7FF8F color. Press control+alt+f to repeat the last filter, but with filter options available there. Set the cell size of the stained glass filter to 10 and border thickness to 1.
Use smudge tool again but with lower strength (20%) and smaller brush size (15).
Again change the layer mode to color dodge.
Finally, duplicate the top layer, rotate it to 180 degree (Edit>Transform>Rotate 180 degree). Reduce the opacity to 60% and layer mode to soft light. You now have nice looking leaf texture
